Attempted beignets! Let’s just say I need to try it again with the right tools. I had to make these by hand without any baking utensils, and it wasn’t fun. (Can you tell I bake a lot?)
In my defense, at least they tasted great!
Spent most of last week cleaning and reorganizing, since my sister left. Nice to get the house back in order.
My Chococat mirror is one of those items I can’t remember where or when I bought, but I find myself using all the time.
Got a lot of wedding planning done over sushi, where I almost burned my finger trying to center the candle within the glass. (Bad idea, Ms. Control Freak.)
Overall, I had a very streamlined week. I have a feeling this week will be more exciting. I’m ready to seize it! Hope you all are having a great start.
